House!

David and i are have signed a lease on a house! we are very excited. I even moved up there saturday and will start work next week. I'll live in our house for a while before the wedding and then after he will move in with me and we will start life. The move and everything went very smoothly and we had alot of help :) I can't wait to put up pictures of our new house. minus david's stuff but he pretty much just has his clothes to move in. Official countdown to the wedding: 47 days!!!!

Brutus

So david and I went to the animal shelter with jessie the other day to help her pick out a cat. While we were there we and looked at the dogs while she got all the paperwork together to take the cat home. I was all about looking at the cute puppies and small dogs and the playfull dogs but david had something else in mind. He fell hard for a cute rott/lab mix. The whole time i was trying to pry him away from that dog, but he kept going back to the same one.

We left the shelter and weighed our options. We wanted to get him but there was obviously a time crunch considering the dog was at an animal shelter and we wouldn't be getting our own place till december. We tried to figure out what to do but i told him we'd wait a while and see how we feel and what we work out ina couple of weeks.

Three days later i was driving to morehead with the dog. I told david i had some wedding stuff i had to get done and probably couldn't even talk to him till late that night. So when i showed up at his door he was suprise to say the least. Not to mention the look on his face when he saw that i had bought the dog and worked out all the living arrangements and little details without him even knowing. Sneaky fiance's can be a good thing! Here's our cute little brutus :)

Wedding Date

For those of you who don't know david and i picked a date! December 13th is our lucky day. I'm SO excited but it's weird beind less than 3 months from getting married. Were both in planning mode. We both love to put our input in which is nice because the more heads you have at something, you get more ideas flowing.

Our reception is going to be at the Richmond Ward building. The ring ceremony will start at 6:30 followed by the reception right afterwords :) Marcia Thurman from illinois has agreed to come up for the wedding and do our pictures which we are WAY excited about. She did our engagment photos too and they were amazing. We are so excited!!!

Our Beginnning

This is our story. This is where we started. The story of the proposal. It all goes back to our first date. jk but our first kiss and the day he me to be his girlfriend was the day we went to the drive in. It's a really great memory and we always want to go back but had a hard time. david said he wanted me to go to his house for our anniversary and left a "ticket" to the movie in my mail box. It was a costum print off he made on the computer but it was so cute that said i was invited for dinner and a double feature.

We got up there and he took me out to dinner and then we went back to his parents house. I was on the phone so i was distracted and he took me to the back yard where he had set up

the back of his house to look like a drive in. He had put up a sheet on the back of his house and borrowed a projector from the church so it would be big screen kind of thing. It was so sweet! So then we watched fantastic four:silver surfer which was playing the first drive in we went to.

It ended and then he show and he played a video of him talking about our relationship and us (hence the double feature mentioned in the ticket he made me) and then he got down on one knee in his truck and popped the question! It was pretty funny because we were on an air mattress to make things more comfortable and he was kind of wobbly. And now we live happily ever after :)
