Right now this is what I'm hearing:
Dddaaaddddddy!? Mmmmmegean??? *giggles* *SQUEAL*
Mama!!! haha What's that!? Pretty *giggle squeal* Daddy daddy daddy...
*gasp* NO! No! NO! Boom(the word not the noise)
My? Bucker (the dogs) Mamamaaaahhhh! My Bucker? dadadada Awww man....
Silence...
I love sitting in my room listening to him wind down. I just thought I would record what I hear because it goes WAY too fast. So sweet to hear him just jibber jaber but I can't believe he's starting to put together sentences.

New Job
Well a quick update about David's job situation. He got one! He's working for GE in Louisville. Its funny because we moved to Lexington so he wouldn't have to commute and we could get more time with him. Here we are again!
Were hoping this is just temporary until he can get a good job in Lexington. If you feel like you have some extra prayers we could use some for him to find something close to home. He won't get back until 6-7 pm depending on traffic and Jax goes to bed at 7:30-8 so that makes it hard on our little guy to want to go to sleep. Not to mention lonely mama!
Other than that were doing good. Jax is going to be Thomas the Tank Engine for Halloween and were getting excited about the holidays coming up! I am already plotting and planning. We went to the pumpkin patch with David, Margaret (David's mom), Aleisha (David's cousin), and we had a great time! Jax LOVED running through the fields like a wild man. He couldn't get enough! I love him more than I could ever imagine. He is the best baby ever. I love his smile and how he's starting to have "conversations". There just jibber jabber, but you can tell he's understanding patterns of conversation and it's amazing. He is getting too big :(

Nosy Neighbors
When we first moved into our current rental house, I was so excited to be living in such an amazing house for such an amazing price and it was in a great location as well! The first week our neighbor helped us till up the dirt in the front garden area so we could plant flowers. Our other neighbors gave Jax a super cute motorcycle toy that he just loves. We have had continually good experiences with the neighbors to our right (who we knew before we moved in) and our neighbors to the left were okay.
Unfortunately they do have very loud grandchildren that come over 3-5+ times a month and are just crazy. I try to be pretty open minded about how people should raise their kids but these children are just obnoxious. They are always yelling, and the grandmother is no better. I can rely on her to regularly shout ALL the way down the street for one of them or yelling threats at all of them. They always have a ton of cars parked on the street and in front of our house but we never say anything. They also have very loud UK game parties where they leave their doors open and we can literally hear all details of the game because their TV is so loud.
Now the reason I am listing their offenses is because I am ticked. This loud lady had the nerve to come to MY house today (knocking obnoxiously loud of coarse) and say that my dog barking was driving them crazy. I hear the dog barking as well but she has been outside MAYBE two minutes. She said they can't even go in their backyard anymore? I'm sorry, but that confuses me. You have a PRIVACY fence, why would you feel that you can't go into your yard? She's not going to jump the fence and eat your shoes, she just is loud occasionally, like her grandchildren.
She continued to say that this goes on for hours at a time and they just couldn't keep it to themselves. Myah is only outside maybe 45 minutes throughout the day. Usually, we put her outside, let her pee, and bring her in. Unless there are guests, she's inside! I just don't know what to do. Sure she barks. Yes it's annoying (we hear it more than her for SURE). She is also not the only yappy dog in the neighborhood. You have to block things out if your going to live around people!
I guess it annoys me that the only time she has come to my house is to complain. Maybe you should have come to my house and welcomed us. Said hi when we were all playing outside in the front lawn. Maybe brought cookies and left them in the mailbox with a note about the dog so you don't come off as rude and overbearing. This incident actually made me want to move!
I guess I should be grateful she let me know and didn't call the cops for a noise complaint or something, but maybe your should teach your grandkids some manners or get out of a neighborhood environment where your GOING to get noise from other people's kids, dogs, cats, cars, etc. Maybe next time her kids come over I should "have a talk" with her about her tyrant grandchildren keeping my son awake at night and how he can't even go in his room anymore (sounds pretty dumb doesn't it). But I won't... I'll just vent it on here and keep the dog in. Because that's what NEIGHBORS do!

Applying for Jobs is a full time job
Well it's been a couple weeks since we found out about David's layoff. I have discovered there really is no nice way of saying your husband lost your job. What's funny is I have never felt panicked. I know our time with this company is limited (as our the paychecks) but I can't help but feel there is something better waiting for us. There are changes we've made financially just in case things don't work out as quickly as we would like, but I have always felt peaceful about the future.
David had an interview with Fayette Co. Schools for an IT position and was extremely excited about it! He really felt like he was going to get it and was very confident that he would get it. He got a call back a week ago and it turns out he didn't get the job. He was pretty discouraged but we got out of the house and tried to make the best of that night.
Since then he has found lots more jobs he is excited about. Most pay more and have much better opportunities for moving up. I really feel like this is a step in the right direction for us. I feel like this is a time that Heavenly Father is really leading us in the right direction. Hopefully we'll know something more soon!
Jax is doing well. I can't believe he is a year and a half old! I felt so bad that we didn't even celebrate (or realize) until it was too late. I still gave him an ice cream bar the day I realized but didn't feel like I made up for it. He is starting to run EVERYWHERE and is pretty fast! He is also a huge mimic still. Today he was saying "breath", "crazy", "Ssshhh", and a billion other things but those were the cutest. I love him so much I want to have 20 of him! The Duggars are starting to not look so crazy :)

Insert Ironic Heading Here
So many of you in Lexington may have heard on the news about the big Lexmark layoffs. 600 people got laid off just in the Lexington area, and 1,700 total employees nation wide were laid off. David had heard it would be all hard ware people since they are phasing out that area of their work and focusing on software, which is what David worked with. No such luck. His whole TEAM was cut. Not only that, but our amazing neighbor , who told us about the current house we are renting (for a HUGE steal) also found out she has to find a new job.
We are lucky though. David has until October 26th to find something. Also, for the last month or two he has been getting bored with his work. He has already started applying for jobs (also over a month ago) and actually had an interview today. This is a scary time in our life but we both feel very comforted.
I always think I don't have anything to blog about. Well I guess now I will. I will try to keep everyone updated with this. I'm hoping to have good news soon!
Jaxon is doing great. I don't know how but he gets more personality every day! He is so sweet and has such a good heart. I LOVE that when I do something he is asking or really likes he says "good girl" to me (like we say to the dogs). I love his kisses and how he says "mama!" like he just discovered I'm in the room, even though I've been there the whole time. I love his stinky feet. He is my heart.
Also I will be doing THREE baby showers in the next two months so I hope to blog about those and they will help to keep me busy. I am so excited for all the ladies! Babies are so exciting!!
I have so many blessings and I hope I can keep that in perspective through the next few months. Wish us luck!

Jaxonisms
Well Jax is becoming quite the little man. He can do numerous animal noises. He can do :
Our Favorite - Cat
His favorite - Pig and or Lion
Most Obnoxious - Dog (he barks nonstop in most stores now)
Sweetest - Bunny
Also - Bee, Fish (kissy face), Duck, horse, sheep and goat are the same, cow, he will occasionally tweet and we are working on a monkey.
He also loves to throw his head back and laugh like a grown up.
He has started to stick his upper half of his body forward when he is smiling at me. I didn't notice I did this when I smile at him but he is a big mimic!
When I get out his favorite book, he starts pointing to his nose because I poke it every time it says I love you. Also something I didn't realize I do till he mimicked me.
He can sign, food, water, please, more, milk, and we are working on sorry.
He loves to run and it is so wonky and adorable. When he runs I hear in my head "clomp clomp clomp".
He likes to sit on the dogs. He backs up into them and sits on their heads, tummy's tails... what ever is closest.
If you lay on the floor, he will do the same to you, but we allow him to sit there longer than the dogs.
He knows in our guest room there is a drawer in the closet with suckers. He also knows how to break in...
He walks around telling the dogs if they are being "good girls" (one is a boy) or bbbaaaddd
He also slaps his arm and says "bbbaaadddd" or slaps his thigh and says "spanken" and I PROMISE we do not slap him or spank him. We think he got it from us telling the dogs they are bad.
He still loves books. We put him to bed with his three crocheted blankets, whiskers the lion, and a book. If you listen you can hear him roar, screech, or woof while he puts himself to sleep.
He can now walk himself into the house from the car.
He has mastered going DOWN the stairs like a big boy. No scooting or sliding down on the tummy for him.
He loves Tarzan, planet 51, chipmunks, and parts of Anastasia. I pick him up during the waltzing scene in Anastasia and dance with him and he SQUEALS like a little girl!
He throws his food on the floor when he eats. Mostly when he is done. NOT cute, but he tries to feed the dogs. Were working on it.
There are so many mile stones at this point, these really just name a few! He is my joy in life. I literally want to crawl in his bed every night and climb in his crib and cuddle him. He is perfection.

Our New Addition
We are please to announce we have another family member that we would like you to meet.
His name is Tucker!
He is a VERY laid back puppy. We get about 15 minutes of play time and then 2-3 hours of the above
He is a BIG fan of stretching (and very noisy)
He and Myah are GREAT together
He's a real ankle biter
They play VERY well together
He has GORGEOUS light brown eyes
He has yet to bark! Myah is yappy so were hoping he rubs off on her. They are both very calm and quiet even when playing around.
Jaxon LOVES the new puppy but has to watch out for his toys now.
HILARIOUS action thought. Myah's face it priceless
Even Jax thinks so. He throws his head back and laughs now. Which is also HILARIOUS. He's so cute
I was a little nervous about bringing him into the family. Myah is a bit neurotic and I thought this could stress her out. She has seizures so the less stress the better. I also knew she'd been getting really bored and home so I figured if we worked with them both she could have a good friend. Little did I know they are perfect for each other! Literally. He is so laid back he doesn't care if she's being possessive or cranky.
David had been asking for him for a few weeks. I wanted to surprise him for father's day so we discussed it and I told him no. I let father's day go by and then Monday I went and picked up our little guy. When David got home I let both dogs run down stairs to great him! He was SHOCKED. Tucker was so good slept in the shopping cart at pet smart (picking up supplies. I am against getting dogs from pet shops. There usually puppy mill dogs.) He also slept the whole way home from Richmond, where we picked him up. When we got home, he peed (outside!) and then went back to sleep! He also loves outside and Myah now spends much more time out there with him! Its great! We are so happy with him.

Can anyone resist a baby tush?
So fresh and so clean, clean :)
Jaxon gets up on our couch all by himself and sits like a big boy when we watches a movie.
*tear* He is getting so big!!!
This is the same face his daddy makes when watching a movie.
This is in the chair he got for Christmas. Again, he looks so grown up!!!

Photo Update
Here are some photo's of Jaxon we've taken lately. He is getting so big! He is in 2T clothes and 3T Jammies and weighs over 30 lbs! He LOVES to be outside. He also loves balls, books, legos, food, MILK, and our dog Myah. He tries so hard to make you laugh and has really had a knack for mimicking. Yesterday he mimicked some not so great words (booger, stink, butt, etc) so were having to watch it even more than normal. Here he is!!!!
My little ham :)
CHEEEESE
Jax LOVES to read
Jaxon looked so tiny in this picture!
Struttin' his stuff
Eating some mulch...

Our Trip to Philly!
My brother Bobby lives in Philadelphia and we went for a visit the weekend before last. Jaxon was SUPER happy to have a boy his age to play with. Zander is actually two and Jaxon is one, but he's not picky. Here are some pictures.
Getting to know each other. They shared REALLY well!
Jaxon watching TV with Daddy. I don't remember what show it was but it was random that he was watching it so intently. :)
Baby Tushies! Getting ready for cousin tubbie time!
This is great mom! We gotta get one of these bath time buddies for home.
Matching jammies that Nonie bought us at the outlets!
Families that roll together, stay together.
This one is from this morning but it was so darn cute! Watching tarzan in his chair from Nana.

No Television Household
I think something when we blog, we don't really focus on what makes our household different from others. I know I try to fit in as much as possible so why would I flaunt things that other people may think is weird. Well, I think that's the wrong way to look at it. I would like to share my latest discovery! NO TV!
When I first had Jaxon I didn't know what I would have done with no TV. It got me through the long days since David had such a long commute. When we were about to move we were looking at cable and internet packages and I had a revelation. I remembered a time when I was single and living with the one and only Anna (Burt) Wilson. We were too poor for TV and I got SO much more done. So we thought we'd give it a try, and I must say, I LOVE IT!
No bad commercials, I get laundry/dishes done, I get bored and go play OUTSIDE or go on a walk. It is so nice to be productive and not worry about what show I'm missing or just too "in the zone" to realize it's been two hours since I've moved.
Don't get me wrong, we have netflix and hulu but we only watch them for a few hours a week. It is GREAT. I can still turn it on when I have my sister over for a girls day, but it doesn't rule my life anymore. I've read a ton, and am generally a lot more content. I know even with kids it seems like it would be too hard to live without, but I would suggest to try it for just ONE month and see how you do. What's the worst that can happen? You save money and fall a little more in love with your husband? Sounds great to me!

March 6th
I cannot believe my baby boy is already one. The time literally has flown by. He has so much personality and everyone falls instantly in love with him. He has charisma oozing out of him. He knows so much already! March 6th was his FIRST BIRTHDAY!!! It was a Tuesday so we had a small family dinner at Cracker Barrell for him. He was not impressed with the cuisine but we were all pretty happy. Here are some pictures from his big day!
My little sleepy head FIRST thing in the morning.
Jaxon with a present. He didn't get to open in then, I just wanted to clue him in that it was a big day :)
Jaxon on he move at Cracker Barrel. I thought the Stair Step effect Papaw, Daddy, and Jaxon had was cute.
The Group at our table. I was taking the picture
My Mother (Nonie) and Grandfather (Poppa) with Jaxon after Dinner. Poppa will be 88 this year!
David's Cousin (Aunt Aleisha) and David's Aunt Debbie. Uncle Buddy had to go to work so missed pictures.
The cupcake! I thought I did pretty good. Jaxon failed to see my brilliance. He hates cake...
David and I bought him a bunch of discount books. A whole box full! He was in pure heaven.
Jax in pure heaven. His Papaw and his books!!!! All he's missing is birds (another obsession).
